Very nice hotel, recommended

Clean, calm hotel with a public transport stop next corner. There are also a few grocery shops like Billa & Lidl nearby. Pubs and bars are 1 km away, walking distance. Despite it's self-check in (no reception), there's a free coffee machine on the first floor.

The wifi signal on the ground floor is very poor. Had to get out of the room to connect and then come back. However, once connected, it's working.

Enjoyed it and would stay there again!

Cute, not too big, close to old town but not right in the busy area. Loved the baked goods left outside our door in the morning!

The room was SO hot and we couldn’t control the temperature. Uncomfortably hot. Cleanliness was a bit lacking, particularly in the bathroom. Internet was very spotty. Smart TV wasn’t up to date so we couldn’t connect to Netflix etc. It would be nice to have a staff person on hand, even for a couple hours a day. We didn’t have anyone to ask any questions we might have had. But these were not major issues (the temperature was the most challenging). I would stay there again!

Overall a great place to stay away from the crowds, clean and good facilities.

Very clean and with good facilities. Also staff were very good with any of our concerns.

The rooms were a bit small and got too hot with the heating, so I turned it off. Could do with more firm pillows.

Fine, apart from being locked out of our room for 45 minutes because of a key code lock failure.

Well laid out room, very comfortable bed, opening windows, quiet and convenient location. The fresh rolls each morning were a nice touch.

On our second night the number code door lock would not open. The phone contact line had a recorded message, we had no idea if our e-mails got through, and it was only when we pressed the door intercom (which was not mentioned in the arrival instructions) that we made contact with a staff member who came and replaced the lock battery. Being unable to get in for 45 minutes was frustrating and inconvenient; luckily it was nothing more. If the hotel wants to run with no staff on the premises, the automated systems need to be reliable!

Ideal for a short stay in Salzburg.

Bagel outside door on first morning lovely to find and enjoy. Coffee making facilities on first floor also good.

Shower rail fell down, but I think that had happened before and been replaced. Not a big problem.

Nice place for a short stay in Salzburg.

Comfortable beds, everything was clean. They left some croissants for us by the door in the morning.

The wifi was very intermittent, not reliable.

Small room but clean and quiet.

Close to town.

The code check in process. We were told we could leave our bags there but the code was not activated until 3pm. Fortunately I did manage to talk to someone and was able to leave bags in out room as their lockers were full.

Well placed for the old town and sight seeing. It’s on the Trolleybus route for the airport (no.2)

Really easy checking in and brilliant communication with the staff. Place was spotless and in good decoration.

The 2nd floor rooms have sloping ceilings. If you are tall you need to ask for a room on the ground or first floors. I hit my head so many times and in so many different places.

Nice, comfortable venue spoiled by some inconsiderate guests

Great location for those not wanting to pay the premium to stay in the old town.

Our stay was spoiled by some fellow guests who decided to drink in the corridors all night. Not a fault of the venue per se but mentioning it in case it's a theme with other reviews.

It was clean and I liked that there were blackout shutters and a heated towel rack. The complimentary croissants in the morning were nice.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and one of the blackout shutters was broken so we had street lights shining in all night. We also had the first room on the ground floor so we got to listen to slamming doors and people trekking in and out all evening and morning.

Great location, good value, would stay here again

It’s only a few minutes walk away from shopping and restaurants, and the street that it is on is not too loud.

based on the pictures on the website, one of the two rooms I booked was a bit smaller than I was expecting. And I didn’t like that the bathroom doors are just pocket doors, rather than actual closing doors. It made it a little awkward to be sharing a room with my brother.

Host is really nice, we faced some technical difficulties with door, host came to solve it at 11:45 in night. Room facilities are also clean and well maintained.

distance is not too close from Salzburg HBF, but once you checkin, all placed in Salzburg are quite on walking distance.

Nice hotel for short stopover in Salzburg. Rooms are OK but quite small. Close to the old town.

Self check-in was very poor. We didn't get the access codes and had to call the staff. It took some time and it was very frustraiting after long travel.

Very Good

Handy location to the hbf and a 20min walk into the heart of Salzburg. Lots of restaurants in the area.

The self check in with no one onsite was difficult and will not do it again. We couldn't regulate the hot water in the shower room 7. It was barely a trickle.

A base for Christmas market break

The hotel was situated an easy walk out of the city centre, so we were not disturbed in the evening, but also felt safe walking out there at off peak times. Our hosts left us each a Mozart kugeln for when we arrived, and delicious breakfast rolls were outside our door on our departure day. The room was warm, much needed in the winter, but the windows also opened making temperature regulation easy. Replies to any queries on booking.com were answered promptly and clearly. This place was perfect as a base for our short spell visiting the amazing Christmas market!
